SEA investigations workshop takes place in Dublin

From 1 to 4 May the CHS Alliance organised an SEA investigations workshop gathering 20 professionals from Concern Worldwide, Finn Church Aid, Humanitrain, Oxfam International, People in Need, Trócaire and Water Aid. The session was hosted by Concern Worldwide and participants were joining us from Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lebanon, UK and USA.

This four-day workshop demonstrated how to conduct fair, thourough and confidential investigations into comlaints of staff misconduct, with a particular focus on allegations of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) of affected populations. 

The session was facilitated by CHS Alliance-approved trainers Lucy Heaven Taylor, Richard Powell (Safe for Children), Ruth O’Donohoe (Concern), Mascha Murphy (Concern) and Karen Glisson, CHS Alliance's Membership Services Manager.
