The CHS Alliance is looking for an enthusiastic, talented, and tactful person to take on the role of HR & Governance Manager.

You will join an energetic organisation influencing the sector towards greater accountability to people affected by crisis through the take up of Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS).

This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a strong experience in Human Resources Management, loves developing and leading on HR projects and has strong knowledge of HR technologies. Another part of the role is dedicated to supporting Governance bodies of the CHS Alliance. French is a must-have.

What we expect from you
As the Human Resources & Governance Manager, you will work under supervision of the Chief Operating Officer. Your tasks will be diverse, but your focus will be on:

  • Leading and delivering on all key Human Resource (HR) activities, advising on best practices and ensuring that the CHS Alliance complies with internal HR policies and relevant employment laws and regulations;
  • Contributing to effective CHS Alliance Governance, through providing support to the Executive Director and Board.

Terms and Conditions
Location:  Geneva
Time commitment: 100 % on an open-ended contract
Salary: annual gross salary ranges from 82’936CHF to 94’785CHF, based on qualifications and experience
Start Date:  1 April or later
