This online 2-day ‘Understanding the CHS’ workshop is for those looking to gain a general understanding of the key elements of the 2024 CHS and how to apply it in their work.
The course is open to a broad global audience, including:
• Anyone working in the humanitarian and/or development sectors who has an interest in knowing more about the revised 2024 Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS)and its implications for policy and practice in international, local and national NGOs.
• Individuals who have existing experience in humanitarian and/or development will benefit most.
The course will cover the main key elements of the 2024 CHS. Participants will have the opportunity to relate their learning to their current work and share examples of challenges and good practices from their experience of working in humanitarian and/or development settings.
The workshop will provide space for peer learning amongst the participants through discussion, brainstorming and storytelling in small groups.
