We are looking for a new member of the Verification Advisory Panel

2 July 2021

We are seeking someone who shares our passion for making aid work better for people affected by crisis through the verification of organisations against the Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability (CHS).

The CHS Verification Advisory Panel provides expert technical advice on CHS verification issues, including interpretation of the CHS indicators and provides recommendations and advice on the management, oversight and improvements to the Scheme.

We are looking for someone with strong expertise in quality assurance of management systems, standard architecture and / or ISO tools and processes, to support us.

We encourage and welcome hearing from people across the globe, especially from the global south, independent from our full member organisations.

This is open-ended, non-remunerated position. The requirement is to attend four meetings a year (mainly virtual, lasting about two hours each) with some preparation time ahead (mainly reading preparatory documents shared by the secretariat).

If the role is of interest to you, please contact verification@chsalliance.org with a short CV and a one-page overview of what you would bring to the role. We would ideally expect someone to join us for our September meeting.
