WCHO’s aim is to improve the well-being and resilience of vulnerable populations, particularly women, children, youth and people with disabilities through inclusive sustainable development programs that address health, education, protection and livelihood challenges while promoting justice, social equality and quality services.
Women and Children Health Organization (WCHO) is a Christian-based, women-led nonprofit organization in South Sudan. It empowers vulnerable populations particularly women, children, youth and people with disabilities through integrated programs in health, education, protection and livelihoods. WCHO implements activities such as gender-based violence prevention, community awareness campaigns, youth engagement initiatives and capacity-building for local leaders. It also promotes inclusive access to quality health services, equitable education opportunities and sustainable livelihoods with a focus on climate resilience, peace building and social cohesion. WCHO partners with stakeholders to build long-term development reducing dependency on humanitarian aid and fostering a just and inclusive society.
