OPEN has the following objectives: 1. Clean up the local environment through reforestation and the cultivation of fruit and shade trees, 2. Invest in the stewardship of Nature, 3. Intervene in conflicts and socio-environmental problems, 4. Rehabilitate and maintain agricultural service roads for food security, 5. Getting involved in children's rights and strengthening the social promotion of women in socio-economic, cultural and administrative life, 6. Popularize legislative and regulatory texts relating to the environment and Pygmy indigenous peoples (IP).

OPEN has already carried out the following activities: WASH, No Food Items, Food Security, Rapid Response Monitoring in areas affected by disaster and armed conflict. OPEN has carried out the reforestation and waste management project several times
