Aim With a vision of fostering an eco-friendly and inclusive society, IHO operates under the motto, "Together we can Change the World!" This ethos emphasizes a commitment to equity and inclusivity for vulnerable communities, including women, children, youth, persons with disabilities, and indigenous peoples. IHO creates an environment that empowers these groups, enhancing their self-worth and enabling informed choices that foster positive social change. Mission • To integrate the issues of women, girls, children, and persons with disabilities into all programs and projects, promoting an inclusive and participatory environment across Ethiopia. Vision To envision an inclusive society where women, girls, children, and persons with disabilities are productive, self-reliant citizens living free from abuse, harm, sexual violence, and all forms of discrimination.

Health Initiatives • Trained over 580 children with disabilities on personal hygiene. • Improved access to family planning and reproductive health training for community members, including persons with disabilities. Educational Support • Offered Braille and sign language training for 310 teachers to improve special needs education. • Established inclusive preschools in eight government primary schools, benefiting over 800 children. Social Services • Distributed accessible national constitutions to promote awareness. • Provided essential items (clothing, blankets, mattresses) to over 250 families with children with disabilities. • Constructed shelters for families facing gender-based violence and economic hardship. Socio-Economic Capacity Building • Conducted training on small-scale business development and climate-resilient practices for 165 women and individuals with disabilities. • Offered job and entrepreneurship training for youth with disabilities.
