The 2025 annual review introduces a series of updates to the Harmonised Reporting Scheme (HRS), aimed at improving the clarity of the data model, strengthening analytical capacity, and enhancing the overall usability of the platform for participating organisations.

Each year, an open survey is conducted to gather feedback from both HRS and non-HRS organisations. This feedback is reviewed and consolidated into a shortlist presented to the HRS Steering Committee, which decides whether to adopt or defer each proposal.

The updates include new data fields, refinements to existing fields, improvements to the reporting workflow, and enhanced data analysis and visualisation features, such as benchmarking, timeline analysis, and tools to help identify potential under-reporting.
