Bringing the CHS closer to people affected by crises – Pakistan
Online
In the past few years, interest in the Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability (CHS) and verification has significantly grown and today the Standard is widely recognised as a measurable framework that sets out the essential elements for principled humanitarian action.
However, if we want to meet the commitments to people affected by crisis that the Standard clearly sets out, the CHS needs to be widely owned and applied and supported by national and local actors – those who are closest to the people and communities affected by crises – as well as international actors.
CHS Alliance, together with its member and partners are reinforcing efforts to make sure the CHS is applied as closely as possible to people and communities affected by crisis.
Representatives of Pakistani actor working to serve people and communities, and committed to quality and accountability, are invited to share knowledge and insights with us on the opportunities and challenges of applying the CHS in the region.
Join us for a 90-minute interactive workshop to help generate learning among national actors and define plans to make sure the CHS is applied as closely as possible to people and communities affected by crisis in Pakistan.
