Peter Kamphof is a certified trainer with a focus on providing support to faith-based organizations. Through his support and training, organizations become equipped to integrate CHS into their own operations, practices, and structures. Peter trains and advises on CHS in general and on CHS Self-Assessment and CHS Independent Verification in particular. Peter is convinced the most optimal way for organizations to work with CHS is when CHS Actions and Responsibilities are not seen as an external requirement to adhere to but that these become connected with the values, culture and systems of the organization itself.
Peter comes from a humanitarian background with over 10 years of experience in programmatic roles in supporting national organisations in many different countries. For several years, he worked as a program officer within Tearfund providing support to partners in different countries including large-scale emergencies as the Syria crisis, Nepal Earthquake response and the Typhoon Haiyan response. As an independent consultant his areas of expertise are amongst others CHS, donor compliance and grants acquisition. Peter currently trains and advises several organizations that are working on CHS Self-Assessment and/or CHS Independent Verification.
