CHS Guidance Notes and Indicators launch in Japanese
The Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) Guidance Notes and Indicators are now available in Japanese. The CHS management team would like to thank the members of the Quality and Accountability Network in Japan (JQAN) for translating the Standard. We would also like to thank the Japan NGO Centre for International Cooperation (JANIC) for acting as secretariat of the process and Shinnyo-en for sponsoring the translation and design. The CHS Guidance Notes and Indicators in Japanese will be an invaluable resource for humanitarian and development organisations working across Asia and worldwide.
The CHS Guidance Notes and Indicators are now available in six languages on the Resources page of CHS website: Arabic, English, French, Japanese, Korean and Spanish. The CHS management team also encourages interested individuals and organisations to translate the CHS Guidance Notes and Indicators into other languages. This helps disseminate the document more widely and supports the efforts of humanitarian and development actors to improve the quality and effectiveness of their responses. Those wishing to do so should first email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and approval from the CHS communications team.
